HI, I'M ROBERT VAN ARLEN

Robert is considered one of the most charismatic and engaging speakers in the professional development marketplace. During some of his keynote speeches, Robert plays original compositions or provides each audience member with an instrument, which is part of what makes his keynotes exceptionally engaging. He delivers a memorable experience for every audience. Born in Honolulu, Robert grew up in Kansas City. Robert was very close to his grandmother (pictured right) as she was one of his greatest musical influences. He moved to San Francisco, and then later to Toronto to reengineer divisions of Commerce Clearing House (CCH), a global publisher of business and tax law information.

After 15 years of leadership experience in the global legal publishing arena, Robert’s corporate background rests on a strong foundation. He implemented business models that helped keep CCH lucrative during the transition from print to CD-ROM & online technologies. His models for adapting to change have been adopted throughout many industries, and he is known for helping teams and individuals become more focused and productive, as well as transforming company cultures.

Robert shares his experiences, research, and dynamic case studies during his training sessions as a method for knowledge transfer. He is also a certified facilitator for Developing High-Performance Organizations (DHPO).
